One solution to better care

Patient Monitor 3 Para

A 3-parameter patient monitor is a simplified version of a patient monitor that tracks three key vital signs simultaneously. These monitors are often used in less critical care environments, such as general wards, outpatient settings, or in-home care for patients who don't require the full range of monitoring capabilities offered by 5-parameter or higher-end monitors.

Key Features of a 3-Parameter Patient Monitor:

Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG):

  • Monitors the electrical activity of the heart to track heart rate and detect abnormalities like arrhythmias.
  • Provides real-time data on heart function.

Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP):

  • Measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure using a cuff around the patient's arm.
  • Useful for monitoring overall cardiovascular health, especially in patients with hypertension or hypotension.

Oxygen Saturation (SpO2):

  • Measures the percentage of oxygen in the blood using a pulse oximeter, typically placed on the finger or earlobe.
  • Important for assessing oxygen levels in patients with respiratory conditions.
